For as long as I can remember, images of wind swept pines, the Canadian shield, crystal clear waters and breathtaking sunsets have drawn me into a place of peace and happiness. Whether we were camping at Kill Bear and Grundy Park or eventually finding our home at the lake which we aptly named “On the Rocks”, the Parry Sound/Muskoka area has always been the ideal place to let my creative juices flow. Many of the images that I etch on glass have been inspired by my surroundings, from cottage and nautical themes to wildlife.
I started etching glass a few years ago giving my creations as gifts. My hobby quickly turned into something more and I started attending artisan and other markets, including the Parry Sound Art in the Park and the Cottage Life Show. I love interacting with clients to create designs that are personalized and unique.
